Schroders hires ESG integration manager

Schroders has hired an environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) integration specialist, focused on enhancing Schroders’ ability to embed sustainability across its investment teams to better meet the needs of its clients.

Stephanie Chang joined as an ESG integration manager, a newly-created role, and will report to Schroders’ head of sustainable research, Andrew Howard.

She previously spent almost five years at PwC where she was an assistant director for sustainability and climate change, focused on the impacts of climate change for financial services and helping clients develop risk management frameworks to respond to the low carbon transition.

Jessica Ground, global head of stewardship, Schroders, says: “Stephanie brings a wealth of ESG knowledge and expertise when it comes to measuring, managing and integrating sustainability.”

“Our clients are increasingly asking for ESG to be embedded into their portfolios and, in turn, we are also constantly seeking to improve how effectively we integrate ESG across Schroders’ investment desks,” she adds.
